CHALLENGE
This startup had created an MVP web application that helps sell financial products (eg. Janus Funds) to Financial Advisors at investment firms. As the MVP matured, the client came to us to make the product responsive, solve usability and architectural issues and introduce new new features.
SOLUTION
I established a vision for the mobile version of the product, solved existing Information Architecture issues, designed new screens, flows and data visualizations, then brought it all to life with a clickable prototype they could get in front of users and investors. Key deliverables include:

DISCOVERY WORKSHOP
Coming out of a series of client discovery workshops, I created user personas, documented usability issues, and sketched out potential information architecture and data viz directions.
WIREFRAMES & PROTOTYPES
I proceeded to wireframe 40+ screens describing both desktop and mobile web experiences. I then brought the wireframes to life via a clickable prototype to demo to investors and user test to gather feedback.
MOBILE / RESPONSIVE
The sales team is often on the road, and having key workflows translated into mobile experiences was critical..
A series of clickable Invision prototypes were created and used in a series of usablility tests conducted:
