JPMorganChase.com was in need of a complete overhaul. The current site had a flash homepage, no mobile version, and users were confused looking for Chase Retail Bank or the investment bank JPMorgan.com, two lines of business owned by JPMorganChase.
Another primary objective was to communicate to the general public the many philanthropic contributions the company contributes to, but also needs to serve the investor community, and media outlets looking for info.
Depending on which region of the US the user was arriving from, we’d serve up relevant videos telling a story about a philanthropic initiative close to the user.
We also clearly established that the user was on the holding company website, with clear links out to consumer Chase site and the investment bank JPMorgan. The site was designed to be responsive and handheld and tablet versions were ideated as well.
