CHALLENGE
One of the worlds oldest white-shoe law firms had an:
• Fragmented, outdated regional intranets
• Outdated paper-based monthly reports for executive decision-making

SOLUTION
• Awarded NN/G 2016 top 10 Intranet design in the world
• Drove substantially increased usage within the Firm.

, and a Business Intelligence Executive Dashboard was to be an important new addition. Other features were to include enterprise record search and employee lookup were to be part of the new design. 

DISCOVERY WORKSHOP

I led whiteboard  sessions with key exec's to define the organizational structure, users, content , requirements and viewing permissions.

A discovery report was produced documenting personas, and content adjustments informed the upcoming design phase.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

The nformation architecture was re-organized  to align with the new strategy, features and content. Lo-fi templates  gave shape to critical screens and built consensus around what to focus on.

WIREFRAMES

An overall direction was established via sketches and lo-fidelity wires, and then proceeded to create 40+ hi-fi wireframes describing the system.

VISUAL DESIGN

Once wires were set, a visual design system was established  across the intranet and business intelligence dashboards.
